Do you love sweet potatoes ( sweet potatoes in air fryer )?
We sure do! Roasting them is our favorite way to enjoy them. They come out so crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Plus, they are so healthy! Sweet potatoes are packed with fiber and potassium, and they are lower in calories than regular potatoes. If you’re looking for a quick and easy side dish, air fryer roasted sweet potatoes are the way to go. They cook up in no time and taste great with just about anything. We love to add them to salads, and tacos, and just enjoy them as a healthy snack. One of the best things about sweet potatoes is that there are so many different varieties to choose from. Each one has its own unique flavor and texture. Our favorite for roasting is the orange-skinned variety. They are moist, sweet, and creamy. Today we are using Garnet sweet potatoes. When choosing sweet potatoes for roasting, look for firm potatoes without much bruising or discoloration. Avoid the ones that are becoming softer. Store them in a cool, dry, dark, but well-ventilated place. We hope you enjoy these air fryer-roasted sweet potatoes as much as we do!
Looking to make delicious roasted sweet potatoes? Our easy-to-follow guide shows you how to make them in the air fryer.
Simply season your sweet potatoes with some oil, garlic powder, salt and pepper, then place them in the air fryer basket. If you’re using an air fryer with a preheat function, preheat to 400°F. Otherwise, cook for 10-12 minutes. Shake the basket at around 6 minutes.
For extra crunchiness, cook for a few minutes longer. And if you’re cooking for a baby, cut the sweet potatoes into small pieces and cook for 8-10 minutes.
You can also make roasted sweet potatoes in the oven. Preheat to 425°F and cook for 30 minutes, tossing every 10-15 minutes.
