We were pleasantly surprised with how great these frozen, refrigerated, or store-bought egg rolls are! A great alternative to takeout.

Do you need to thaw the egg rolls before you cook them?
The outside of the spring rolls or egg rolls will crisp up the best if they are frozen.
Just take them straight from the freezer and put them in your air fryer – no pre-thawing necessary.
Air fried frozen egg rolls are easy!
Instructions for cooking frozen egg rolls in air fryer
- Spring rolls already contain oil when cooked, so there is no need to add oil.
- Fill the basket/bowl with a single layer. Don’t give away the egg roll.
- Cook at a lower temperature first, heat in the center and then heat to cool on the outside.

Equipment
- 1 Air Fryer
Ingredients
- 8 Frozen Egg Rolls Tai Pei egg rolls (or other brand e.g. Pagoda, Chung's)
Instructions
- Place the frozen eggs in the air fryer basket and spread them out in a single layer.
- No oil spray needed.
- Air Fry at 340°F/170°C for 10 minutes.Turn the egg roll.
- Heat to 400°F/205°C and air fry for an additional 2-5 minutes or until cooked through and crispy.
Notes
- It doesn't need oil.
- Cook frozen: do not defrost first.
- Shake or rotate as needed.
- Do not overload the fryer basket.
- The recipe time is based on an air fryer that is not preheated.
- If you cook in multiple batches in a row, subsequent batches may cook a little faster.
- The recipes have been tested on 3.7-6 qt. air fryers If you use a larger air fryer, they may cook faster, so adjust the cooking time.
- Remember to set a blend/flip/spin timer as directed in the recipe.
If your air fryer is preheated or if you're cooking multiple batches, you may need to shorten the time by a few minutes (unless the recipe calls for preheating).
